As Sheriff, I will restore sound management and positive morale, while eliminating budget waste

As Anaheim’s Deputy Chief of Police, I oversee daily operations of the department’s nearly 800
members and $120 million budget. I run an efficient and effective department, providing for safe
neighborhoods while protecting taxpayer dollars. That’s one reason why Anaheim is ranked among
the safest destinations in America.
I support tough sentencing like the Three Strikes law and prosecuting gang members as adults. I
strongly oppose any ‘early-release’ programs, and I will vigorously support your constitutional rights
to self defense.
I have 30 years of Orange County policing experience and am honored to be supported by local
police officer associations and experienced Police Chiefs.
Most of us in Orange County’s law enforcement community are disappointed by the
mismanagement, internal strife, and political wrangling at the Sheriff’s office. We cannot
compromise public safety, and that’s why we need a change of leadership in the Sheriff’s office.
